Questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes. MeCorder works fully for 14 days, with no account and no card. After that it keeps working, but exports carry a small “Made with MeCorder” mark until you choose a plan.
What’s the difference between the plans?
Nothing in the app. Every plan unlocks everything. Monthly renews until you cancel and gets cheaper the longer you stay; Lifetime is paid once and is yours to keep.
How does the monthly price go down?
Your first month is $9. Each month you stay subscribed costs $1 less, until it reaches $3 a month, and it stays there. If you cancel, a new subscription starts again at $9.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Start monthly and move to Lifetime whenever you like.
Do I need an account?
No. A plan comes with a licence key you paste into Settings. MeCorder runs on your Mac and your recordings stay there.
What about the AI features?
The built-in offline interpreter is included and needs no network. Free-form requests can use your own Anthropic API key, which you pay Anthropic for directly.
